A page arrives that reads sideways, or a whole document is upside down. Here is how to rotate a PDF permanently so every page keeps its correct orientation when you save and share it.

Rotation vs. viewing angle

Free PDF readers let you rotate a page on screen, but the change disappears as soon as you close the file. To keep the new orientation you need to apply it permanently and download the re-rotated document.

Pick the angle you need

Most pages only need a quarter or half turn to be readable. A PDF rotator such as Rotate PDF online lets you choose 90, 180 or 270 degrees and applies it to any page you select.

One page or the whole file

It is often a single page that is flipped while the rest is fine. You can rotate just that page, or the entire document in one pass if everything is sideways.

Save and finalise
